3. During Oboni: This is a holiday celebrated primarily by the Buddhist community in Japan, created to honor the spirits of ancestors.

4. During Dharma Day (Asalha Puja): On this day we celebrate the first time the founder of Buddhism taught his followers the way to become a Buddha.

5. During Theravada New Year: This is one of the most traditional festivals in Buddhism, its celebration lasts 3 days and starts on the first Purnima of April.

6. During Nirvana Day: This day is celebrated in memory of the death of the Buddha (died at the age of 80) and we remember the day he reached Nirvana.

7. During Bodhi Day: We celebrate the day by chanting mantras and meditating to honor the day Buddha attained enlightenment in 596 BC while sitting under a Bodhi tree.
