What Is a World Clock?
A world clock shows the current local time in multiple places at the same moment. CalendarHours combines live clocks with local dates and the difference from your current time zone, making it faster to answer practical questions such as whether it is morning in London, already tomorrow in Tokyo or still the previous day in Hawaii.
This page owns world-clock discovery and comparison. A specific country's, state's or city's “time in X / current time in X” intent belongs to that location's canonical Cluster 1 page, while formal time-zone entities, offsets, abbreviations, daylight-saving guides and conversions belong to Cluster 2.
How CalendarHours Calculates World Time
CalendarHours uses IANA time-zone identifiers with the browser's standards-based time-zone implementation. The clocks update every second and the displayed local date, offset and time difference are calculated for the current instant, so seasonal daylight-saving changes can be reflected automatically where they apply.
The page also attempts a same-origin server-time check using the HTTP Date header. If that check succeeds, CalendarHours uses the server reference; if it does not, the clocks continue with the device clock. CalendarHours does not claim independent NIST synchronization.

Why can it be tomorrow in another country?
Local calendar dates change at midnight in each time zone. Because time zones span the globe, one place can already be on the next calendar date while another is still on today or yesterday.
Does the World Clock adjust for daylight saving time?
Yes. CalendarHours formats each clock using the time-zone rules available to your browser for the current date, so seasonal offset changes are reflected where daylight saving time is observed.
What is the difference between World Clock and Time Zones?
World Clock is for finding and comparing current time by location. The Time Zones section owns time-zone entities, abbreviations, UTC/GMT offsets, daylight-saving guides and conversions.
How does CalendarHours calculate world time?
CalendarHours uses IANA time-zone identifiers with the browser's Intl implementation and attempts a same-origin CalendarHours server-time check. If that check is unavailable, the clocks use the device clock as the time reference.
