PhST vs PHT vs PST — Which Philippines Time Abbreviation Is Correct?

The Philippines once kept the date on the American side of the International Date Line, a legacy of Spanish colonial administration tied to Mexico. In 1844, Governor-General Narciso Clavería ordered a calendar realignment toward Asia: December 30, 1844 was followed directly by January 1, 1845.
